Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers 2025 will bloom with the sounds of local talent as People First Bank Parkland Entertainment returns to showcase the region’s finest musicians across Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park.
From Friday 12 September to Monday 6 October, families and music lovers can enjoy free entertainment sessions featuring a 100% local roster of performers in two of Toowoomba’s most beautiful parkland settings.
Daytime Sessions – Every Weekend Plus Public Holiday Monday
Both Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park will come alive with live music every Friday to Sunday (9:30am-1pm and 2pm-5:30pm), plus Monday 6 October, throughout the festival period. With performances that are sure to strike the right chord, these garden gatherings promise to be the perfect remedy for anyone needing to stop and smell the roses, and hear some fantastic tunes!
“Every weekend is positively blooming with People First Bank Parkland Entertainment,” said Councillor James O’Shea, portfolio chair for Environment and Communities at Toowoomba Regional Council. “We’re inviting people to grab their picnic blankets and plant themselves among the flower beds for live music in our parks.”
Special Twilight Sessions – An After-Dark Garden Experience Returns
The popular Twilight Sessions are returning to Queens Park Botanic Gardens, hosting intimate evening concerts on Friday and Saturday nights (5:30pm-8pm) for three special weekends, offering concert-goers a magical under-the-stars experience.
“When the garden gets its groove on after dark, there’s something truly special about live music in our gardens,” said Councillor O’Shea. “These intimate concerts create the perfect atmosphere for families and couples to grab some tasty treats from the array of onsite food trucks, and settle in for an evening of local musical talent.”
Celebrating Local Talent in Full Bloom
Continuing the tradition that has taken root, the 2025 program proudly maintains its commitment to featuring 100% local entertainment. This initiative, supported by People First Bank’s generous sponsorship, ensures regional musicians take centre stage throughout the Carnival – proving that homegrown talent is always in season.
“People First Bank is proud to showcase local musicians through our support of the Parkland Entertainment program. Since our beginnings in Toowoomba 150 years ago, we have been driven by the belief that banking should strengthen communities. Events like this bring people together and celebrate what makes the Toowoomba region special.”
