Presented by C&K Childcare and Kindergarten and The Empire, THRIVE Festival is a four-day celebration of creativity, imagination and play for children aged 0–12 and their families. Held during the spring school holidays at the region’s most vibrant time of year, it’s a festival designed from the ground up with young people in mind.
With a wonderful mix of free and ticketed experiences spread across indoor and outdoor spaces, there’s always something to discover, create or explore — no matter the age or interest of the children in tow. Food trucks, a coffee van and a canteen keep everyone fuelled throughout the day, and the atmosphere is joyful, relaxed and genuinely welcoming for families. Get ready to gather, imagine, play—and thrive!
Parking — including wheelchair accessible spaces — is available in two car parks on Neil Street opposite The Empire, and on the corner of Julia and Hume Streets. Parking is free after 5pm weekdays, after 11.30am Saturdays and all day Sundays.
