An often-undiscovered gem, Boyce Gardens is a patch of paradise just minutes from the city centre that boasts a surprising variety of plant life.
Established in 1930 by Leslie and Margaret Boyce, this stunning site was gifted to the University of Queensland in 1969 to preserve and maintain the gardens and natural forest.
Boyce Gardens are as varied as they are beautiful. You can explore breathtaking sections of rainforest and pine forest, plus an avocado orchard, Australian flowering shrubs, rose gardens, native orchids, camellias, and manicured lawns.
This serene spot hiding in plain sight is definitely worth branching out to visit!
Unfortunately pets aren’t permitted at Boyce Gardens – Rover will have to skip this one!
