Join the inaugural Toowoomba Birding Festival, a celebration of feathered friends taking flight from 13 – 27 September. Bird enthusiasts of all ages can spread their wings with a variety of activities designed to delight everyone from fledgling bird watchers to seasoned twitchers.

Explore the region’s stunning birdlife through guided walks tailored for both adults and kids, or nest in for fascinating talks covering local bird species, garden bird attraction techniques, agricultural avian friends, and tips for capturing that perfect bird photo. Whether you’re hoping to spot a rare visitor or simply enjoy the chorus of local songbirds, Toowoomba Birding Festival offers something for every nature lover.
