Spring Blooms with Style: FLORAL FRIDAY Launches Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers

Spring is calling – and it’s dressed in florals!

This year’s Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers kicks off with a brand-new celebration: FLORAL FRIDAY, happening on Friday 12 September.

Schools, businesses, and the whole community are invited to wear their most blooming beautiful outfits and help transform the city into a living bouquet of colour and creativity.

From floral frocks to petal-powered accessories, FLORAL FRIDAY is all about expressing local pride and Carnival spirit in full bloom.

Toowoomba Regional Council Environment and Community spokesperson Councillor James O’Shea said Floral Friday was set to kick-off this year’s Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers in spectacular fashion.

“Imagine a day when flowers aren’t just seen, but lived.

“Shopfronts will dance with bunting, front gates will bloom with floral decorations, and every resident becomes a walking celebration of our region’s most spectacular season,” he said.

How to get involved:

• Dress floral – wear your brightest, boldest flower-inspired outfit
• Decorate your space – schools, businesses, and homes are encouraged to add floral flair
• Share your floral fun – share your photos on social media and remember to tag us with @toowoombacarnivalflowers, #tcof and #FloralFriday
