This year’s program introduces exciting new events alongside cherished traditions, offering something for everyone.

Tickets for all signature events go on sale on Tuesday 1 July 2025, and with limited capacities, early booking is recommended.

Lawn Party – 13 September 2025
A new era of elegance is set to bloom in Toowoomba this September, as the city’s most iconic event, the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, introduces a spectacular new addition to its lineup, the Lawn Party.
As the sun dips behind Toowoomba’s skyline, the park will come alive in a celebration of springtime splendour. Taking place on Saturday 13 September 2025 at 4pm in the stunning surrounds of Queens Park, this premium ticketed event will mark the official launch of the 2025 Carnival in breathtaking fashion. Picture curated cocktails, botanical installations, a decadent oyster bar situated under a veil of twinkling lights. This is the place where refined springtime charm meets floral theatre.

Paw Parade – 21 September 2025
Paw Parade is a brand-new, family-friendly event where four-legged fashionistas take centre stage. Held in Queens Park, this morning of wagging tails, gourmet treats, market stalls and parade competitions will have dogs and their humans alike soaking up the joy. Prizes will be awarded for best-dressed pets, owner lookalikes, waggiest tail and more.

FEASTival – 27 and 28 September 2025
FEASTival is a fresh, two-day foodie celebration of the Toowoomba Region’s finest flavours. Set among the leafy parklands of Queens Park, it features sweet and savoury delights, boutique beverages, live local music and a special appearance by celebrity chef Miguel Maestre. Bring your appetite, your picnic rug, and the whole family.

Weekend Table – 3 to 6 October 2025
The Weekend Table series brings together 12 unique culinary experiences across the Darling Downs, from lakeside yoga breakfasts and vineyard lunches to high teas in heritage venues and hearty dinners under the stars. Designed to cater to all tastes and budgets, each event is a celebration of connection, regional produce, and springtime storytelling.

Wrapping up the Weekend Table series in the sweetest way possible is Cake Date, a one-of-a-kind event for dessert lovers, bakers and sweet tooths alike. Guests are invited to bring a florally inspired whole cake, homemade or store-bought to share. Each participant will leave with a custom box filled with cake slices from around the room, before settling in for a relaxed picnic on the lawn with coffee and sunshine. It’s a light-hearted, joyful celebration of spring flavours, creativity, and community and one of the most talked-about new additions to the Carnival calendar.

In addition to its signature events, the Carnival continues to offer a vibrant calendar of free experiences that capture the spirit of the season. Wander through award-winning floral displays in Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park, marvel at the iconic Grand Central Floral Parade, and follow the #treats food trail to discover Carnival-themed dishes from local cafes and restaurants. Free live music, roving performers, and family-friendly activities will pop up throughout the city, ensuring there’s something for everyone — without spending a cent.

With exciting new events and treasured favourites blooming across every weekend, now is the time to plan your visit. Book your tickets early, gather your crew, and get ready to experience Australia’s most iconic celebration of spring — right here in the Garden City.
