FOUR WEEKENDS OF FLORAL-FILLED FUN, RUNNING FROM 12 SEPTEMBER TO 6 OCTOBER!

A Table for Every Taste: Weekend Table Launches at Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers

Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers invites food lovers and experience seekers to take a seat at our newest spring celebration, Weekend Table, a multi-day, multi-venue series of 12 unique culinary events hosted across the Toowoomba Region.

Running over the October long weekend, Weekend Table offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, high tea and dinner experiences that connect people through food, stories, and seasonal fare. With each event showcasing a different venue, theme, and menu, the series has been designed to suit all tastes, budgets, and styles, from wholesome mornings to indulgent evenings, elegant high teas to rustic feasts.

Start the day with intention at Reflections Lake Cooby, where a gentle lakeside yoga session is followed by a wholesome breakfast of locally sourced dishes served in a serene marquee by the water. Or gather your crew for brunch at Fitzy’s, a vibrant bottomless brunch featuring shared pastries, mini savouries, sweet treats and free-flowing cocktails and mimosas, all set to the perfect Sunday soundtrack.

Prefer long lunches in scenic surrounds? Rosalie House promises a Mediterranean-inspired three-course meal among the vineyard, with live music and a welcome drink under Queensland’s spring sky. Or, for an exceptional paddock-to-plate experience, award-winning Crows Nest restaurant Myrtille will present a four-course celebration of spring featuring locally grown ingredients, Champagne by Taittinger, and live music in a setting that blends historical charm with modern elegance. It’s an elevated regional experience just 40 minutes from Toowoomba and a true highlight of the series.

For those who love to dine under the stars, Vintage Cow Café offers a fun, barn-style camp oven supper with Wagyu tastings, a five-course menu, and live entertainment. Or enjoy a more elegant evening at the Downs Club Toowoomba, at their journey across the globe, with wine-paired dishes inspired by diverse culinary traditions.

The Weekend Table concludes with Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers’ signature event, Cake Date. Flour-powered and full of fun, Cake Date is unlike anything Queensland has seen before. On Monday 6 October 2025, 100 dessert lovers will gather to share floral-inspired whole cakes and swap slices in the sweetest spring celebration.
