APPLICATIONS FOR PEOPLE FIRST BANK PARKLAND ENTERTAINMENT 2026 ARE NOW OPEN

Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is looking for talented local musicians to provide the soundtrack to our stunning parks and gardens! People First Bank Parkland Entertainment is your chance to perform for Carnival visitors as they explore Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park, creating those magical moments that make a day out truly unforgettable.

Whether you’re a solo artist, a duo, or a full band, this is one gig you won’t want to miss! It’s a rosy opportunity to grow your audience, connect with your community, and be part of Queensland’s most beloved springtime celebration.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

Every Fri–Sun during Carnival (18 Sept – 5 Oct 2026), live music blooms across Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park as part of our People First Bank Parkland Entertainment.

Standard sessions are 3.5 hours with three 15-minute set breaks. You’ll be set up under a marquee with power supplied — just bring your own audio equipment.

Twilight sessions (Queens Park Botanic Gardens, Fri – Sat only) are 2.5 hours with one 20-minute break. These are open-air performances (no marquee) so pack accordingly and soak up that gorgeous spring atmosphere!

Please note that sets should be suitable as park music — enjoyable background music for guests of all ages.

HOW TO APPLY
We believe some of the best music around is grown right here at home. People First Bank Parkland Entertainment is our way of putting local talent front and centre during Queensland’s most beloved springtime celebration — and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Applications are open to Toowoomba Region residents only. If that’s you, here’s how it works:

Browse the available session dates and locations, select the ones that suit you, and pop in a quote per set time. Each session has an allocated budget, so your quote may influence your eligibility for your preferred times.

If you’re part of more than one act (solo, duo, band, etc.), simply submit a separate application for each — we want to hear about all of them!

Applications close at 5pm on Friday, 26 June 2026.
