Remnants is a thought-provoking exhibition exploring themes of land, memory and belonging through the lens of the natural world. Through surreal painting, sculpture and fibre art, artists Rachel Favelle and Erica Eurell weave together flora, fauna and ornate objects to examine the impact of introduced species and the delicate, sometimes fragile threads that connect us to place.
Rich with detail and layered with meaning, this is an exhibition that rewards those who take time to look closely. Each work invites the viewer to consider their own relationship with the landscape — what belongs, what was brought here, and what remains.
A beautiful and quietly powerful exhibition to experience during the Carnival season. Onsite, street and off-street parking all available.
It won’t cost you a single petal — this event is free!
Please note that Crows Nest Gallery is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and public holidays.
