EVent Description

Celebrate the joy of spring with Bloom: Songs in Full Colour, an uplifting choral concert that brings the beauty of the season to life through music. Structured around four colour suites, each musical set draws inspiration from a different hue, reflecting the stunning blooms found across Carnival’s showcase parks – Queens Park Botanic Gardens and Laurel Bank Park.

The floral theme extends well beyond the music itself. The stage will be beautifully dressed with fresh floral arrangements and live plants, framed by a stunning floral-themed backdrop. Every audience member will receive a live flower on arrival — a lovely little touch that sets the tone for the whole afternoon. Lucky door prizes of gorgeous floral arrangements will also be drawn on the day, so you might just leave with even more blooms than you arrived with!

Proceeds from the concert support the day-to-day costs of Toowoomba Choral Society, a much-loved community arts organisation that has been serving Toowoomba for more than 90 years.

Morning tea, cold drinks and snacks will be available for purchase and the venue is pet-friendly. Street parking is nearby, and the Choral Hall is within easy walking distance of Queens Park, making it a wonderful addition to a full day of Carnival exploring.
