Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers 2025 Blooms with Record-Breaking Results

The 76th Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers has burst into full bloom with record-breaking crowds, vibrant new events, and an atmosphere of joy that has swept across the city. This year’s program is already proving to be one of the most successful in Carnival history.

Highlights so far include:

  • Record Attendance:
    • The Botanic Gardens welcomed an extraordinary 21,100 visitors on Sunday, 21 September. The highest figure ever recorded in the history of the Carnival on a single day!
    • Laurel Bank Park also saw 6,006 visitors that same day, a huge turnout for its smaller setting.

  • 11-Day Totals:
    • Botanic Gardens – 106,367 visitors
    • Laurel Bank Park – 38,318 visitors

  • Grand Central Floral Parade:
    • The 76th edition of this iconic event drew 59,125 attendees. Despite damp skies, the streets came alive with 86 colourful, creative entries that filled the CBD with community pride, dazzling floats, and infectious smiles.

  • Paw Parade:
    • Making its debut in 2025, the Paw Parade was a runaway hit, attracting 4,100 attendees and 130 registered dogs, alongside countless other four-legged friends who joined in the fun. Families and visitors embraced this brand-new addition, which is already set to become a Carnival favourite.

The Carnival continues to delight visitors with its gardens, parades, entertainment, foodie experiences, and family-friendly fun, showcasing Toowoomba as the ultimate springtime destination. With two weeks still to go, the excitement is only just warming up.
