Come and learn more about the ecological gems in the region! Friends of the Escarpment Parks are coordinating FREE Wednesday tours that explore Hartmann Reserve in Rangeville, while Friday heads further afield to Highfields where Charles & Motee Rogers Reserve invites you to learn more about natural habitats and local wildlife.
About Hartmann Reserve: with a range of accessible bushland habitat trails, you will enjoy a wide array of natural spectacles on your tour. Points of interest include native plants, a giant Hoop Pine tree, Bunya Pine trees, a native stingless bee hive as well as numerous photo opportunities of birds in the reserve (including a Satin Bowerbird bower!). Ongoing volunteer bush regeneration activities occur at Hartmann Reserve on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 9am. For more information contact Friends of the Escarpment Parks.

Free guided tours and optional bush regeneration activities (suitable for families) of Hartmann Reserve are available on Wednesday 11th and 25th September.
Tours commence at 9am & 11am, meeting at the Alderley Street entrance near Rowbotham Street.
