Boyce Gardens

Friday 1st until Saturday 30th – 9:00am – 4:00pm

September 1 @ 9:00 am September 30 @ 4:00 pm

Boyce Gardens are simply stunning. They were named after Leslie and Margaret Boyce who established the garden in 1930. In May 1969, the Boyce family gave the estate to the University of Queensland in trust, for educational purposes and to preserve and maintain the gardens and natural forest.

Boyce Gardens are as varied as they are beautiful. There’s a breathtaking rainforest on the north-eastern corner, a pine forest along Mackenzie Street on the eastern side, plus an avocado orchard and Australian flowering shrubs. On the southern side discover rose gardens, native orchids, camellias and manicured lawns.
