Gumbi Gumbi Gardens

The garden was designed in close partnership with respected Historical Elders from Toowoomba and Elders of the Jarowair people. Featuring more than 100 plant species, the garden displays an extensive array of Indigenous flora used by the local Aboriginal communities for a range of purposes, including food and medicine.

One of the most beautiful and peaceful parks in Toowoomba is the University of Southern Queensland's Japanese Garden. ‘Ju Raku En’ roughly translates to mean 'to enjoy peace and longevity in a public place' and was opened on 21 April 1989.
