Toowoomba is located in Southern Queensland, just a 90 minute drive from Brisbane. Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is a month long program of events consisting of 15 feature events and over 70 community-run events and activations. Events and displays are located at different venues across Toowoomba city and the surrounding regions.
All of the public parks and gardens have disabled access facilities. Most of the main events have disabled access and disabled access parking.

Limited parking is available at each of the event sites and public parks and gardens.
Dog owners are permitted to bring their dog to public parks and gardens provided they are on a leash. For safety reasons, dogs aren't permitted into the Festival of Food & Wine or any other events.

Provided more than 24 hours notice is given and provided there are available spots, it might be possible to transfer your tour ticket to another day. Please contact the Carnival team at info@tcof.com.au
The concession ticket type can be purchased if you possess a valid Australian student card, seniors card or pension card.
The Toowoomba Visitor Information Centre, located at 86 James St, offers a wealth of knowledge on local hotels, motels, apartments and camping grounds. They also receive regular updates on accommodation vacancies. For advice on accommodation, please call the Information Centre on 1800 33 11 55. It is highly recommended that you book accommodation as early as possible, as it tends to book out over the 10 days of Carnival.
There are a number of private gardens available to view during Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. These details are available through Toowoomba Exhibition Gardens and The Chronicle Garden Competition event pages.
Please note: The Chronicle Garden Competition winners are announced on Friday 17th September 2021 in the local Toowoomba newspaper The Chronicle, as well as the list of all other private garden addresses. Please purchase The Chronicle newspaper from local newsagencies in Toowoomba on the 17th September for the list of winners and addresses.
The public parks and gardens, such as Queens Park Botanic Garden, Laurel Bank Park, Picnic Point Park, Newtown State Rose Garden, USQ Japanese Garden, Peacehaven Botanic Park and Boyce Gardens are all free to visit. The private gardens that are part of The Chronicle Garden Competition are also free to visit and are open between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Friday 17 Sept - Sunday 19 Sept and Friday 24 Sept - Sunday 26 Sept. The four Toowoomba Exhibition Gardens, usually past competition winners, ask for a small entry fee.
