Pack a picnic and discover The University of Queensland’s (UQ) Boyce Gardens during the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers.
Take a self-guided tour of this magnificent garden, forest and park, covering 6 hectares, which was established as a private garden by leading Toowoomba citizens Leslie and Margaret Boyce almost 60 years and entrusted to UQ for the enjoyment and education of the people of Australia.
With over 700 plant species to explore, Boyce Gardens is an essential stop on any Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers tour.
Come and have a chat to a UQ expert about innovative tree health solutions, the biotechnology properties of native bush foods, and student pathway programs supporting the health workforce in the Darling Downs. There will also be family activities and live music to enjoy.
