The Grand Central Floral Parade is the premier event in Toowoomba’s Carnival of Flowers. This year’s theme, ‘It’s a Party!’ honours the rich traditions of Toowoomba’s longstanding parade, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year.
Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery’s exhibition ‘Floating on by’ showcases unexpected and fun artworks from the Gallery’s collections that respond to historical photographs of parade floats throughout the Carnival’s history.
