Peacehaven Botanic Park is set in the leafy suburb of Highfields, 15 minutes drive north of the Toowoomba CBD. Covering 5.3 hectares, the park offers panoramic views of Gowrie Junction and the Bunya Mountains to the west and includes a diverse collection of Australian native flora and other attractive botanic specimens, including rare and endangered plants. The park is home to more than 200 different species of native plants and scores of birds and wildlife. Follow the meandering paths to discover why locals and visitors of all ages love Peacehaven.
The Peacehaven Botanic Park nursery is a specialist Native Plant Nursery, with many plants available that are rarely found in other nurseries. It’s open 9am-12:30pm on Thursdays, 9am-1pm on Saturdays. The volunteers, with their wealth of knowledge, will be pleased to help you select the best plants to purchase for your garden.
